This Alice In Wonderland Makeup Palette Will Blow Your Minds
The colours: Psychedelic. The packaging: Just as fantastical and wonderful as the upcoming Disney flick it's inspired by.
By ISABEL ONG,
If you've watched the trailer, you'll know that Alice: Through The Looking Glass is not your typical feel-good Disney flick, with dark humour and enigmatic imagery that are Tim Burton signatures. And while the garishly painted faces of the Mad Hatter and the Red Queen aren't the kind of makeup you'd wear out, American beauty brand Urban Decay has come up with an eyeshadow palette that will make you want to throw on some of the colours.
Featuring 20 brand new eyeshadows, every row embodies a character in the film, from Alice (nude and beige) to the Mad Hatter (sparkly green and red) and Time (dark blue and grey). The limited edition palette comes in kaleidoscopic packaging, and the eyeshadows are housed in a drawer that you pull open below a 3D pop-up of a butterfly - yes, the same one you see in the film. Also included: A double-ended brush for easy application.
Watch how to use the colours in the makeup demo below and grab this limited edition palette ($88) from July 6 at all Sephora stores and Urban Decay stores.
