Asia's Next Top Model's Makeup Director On The Hottest Beauty Trends Now

Asia's Next Top Model Cycle 4 premiered on March 9 with 14 models from Myanmar, Thailand, Hong Kong, Vietnam, the Phillippines and South Korea vying for the title. In episode 2, models sported edgy graphic eyeliner; in episode 4, they pulled off a colourful smokey eye and a shimmery lip polish.

The man behind these looks: Singaporean makeup artist and Maybelline New York's Official Makeup Director Nigel Stanislaus. He's worked with celebrities like Mel B and Peaches Geldof, as well as top supermodels Linda Evangelista and Cindy Crawford (their secret to good skin? Keeping themselves hydrated, he tells us).

We caught up with Stanislaus to find out more about the beauty trends that excite him most and tips on choosing suitable eye and lip colours for Asian skin.
