Beauty Review: This Estetica Facial Brightens Your Complexion And Hydrates Skin

The pretty generic part of the 90-minute GenXSkin facial at Estetica's newest salon in Plaza Singapura: the skin analysis, cleansing and exfoliation. The notable: the gentlest extraction I’ve ever had that doesn’t leave behind angry red blotches, and most enjoyable firming face, neck and throat, and shoulder massages.

Using French brand Ericson Laboratoire’s anti-ageing products, which reportedly “reactivate genes” for more collagen and hyaluronic acid, the session ends with two masks (a hydrating sheet mask topped with a cream one for repair, both left on for 20 minutes) and lightening serum for my hyperpigmentation.

Post-treatment, my skin looks clearer and less patchy. Freckles look lighter too. $368, Estetica (#06-18 Plaza Singapura, tel: 6737-2234)
