Buy This Luxe Moisturiser And Support The Ocean

A beauty brand which believes in the healing powers of the ocean, La Mer continues to support protecting ocean habitats with a limited edition moisturiser and new campaign.

In 2014, La Mer established Blue Heart, a philanthropic global effort to celebrate the ocean and share a deeper understanding of how essential it is to our own lives.

This year, the luxury beauty brand continues its partnership with National Geographic Society to help support the next generation of ocean explorers. La Mer will also partner with influencers from around the world to create a series of vignettes that illustrate how the ocean serves as their muse to stimulate their passions and creativity.

In celebration of Blue Heart and World Oceans Day, a 100ml jar of Creme de la Mer with a new limited-edition sea-inspired design will be available from 30th May 2016. The jar will be inscribed with the words ‘Blue Heart’ to commemorate the brand’s ongoing inspiration from the ocean’s beauty and its goal of raising awareness about the precious blue heart of our planet. Only 150 jars of the World Oceans Day Creme de la Mer ($740) will be available in Singapore.

To further honour the ocean as a source of inspiration, La Mer invites its fans to share their own personal story and connection to the sea through the #LaMerBlueHeart campaign.

“We’ve all been touched by the ocean in some way and each of us hasan inspiring story to share withthe world,” said Sandra Main, Global Brand President of La Mer. “La Mer hopes that sharing these stories will raise awareness and educate consumer on the importance of healthy ocean habitats.”
