Chanel’s Latest Additions To Its Ultra-Hydrating, Camellia-Infused Skincare Line
Chanel’s Hydra Beauty range is about to bring your hydrating skincare routine to a new level, thanks to new versions of its creams and lip serums.
White camellias have long been a Chanel icon. Other than being one of the maison’s most important house codes, it’s also a major skincare ingredient in Chanel’s Hydra Beauty Skincare line for its highly hydrating properties.
As a skincare ingredient, white camellia offers a multitude of actives that ultimately replenish and refresh your skin’s moisture level. From May 5, 2026, the Chanel Hydra Beauty line offers an updated formula for two mainstay products, the Micro Creme and Micro Gel Creme, as well as new scented hydrating lip serums.
With its newly redesigned formula, both the Micro Creme and Micro Gel Creme offer deeper hydration for all skin types, and throughout any season.
The Micro Gel Creme and Micro Creme’s new formula update offers 24 hours of hydration, and aims to replenish and fortify your skin within 60 seconds of application. Both creams are infused with a microfluidics technology that preserves the power of white camellias in tiny spheres. When applied, they pop to deliver instant radiance that strengthens the skin barrier and leave your skin fresh and hydrated.
Basically: they offer practically instant hydration and radiance.
The Micro Serum Levres are composed of 95% naturally derived ingredients, honing the hydration power of hyaluronic acid and camellia extracts.
The line also introduces a new addition: scented lip serums. Initially launched in 2024, the original unscented version also offers 24-hour lip hydration using microfluidic technology. Fast forward two years later, and Chanel now introduces two new additions: scented lip serums in raspberry and blackcurrant (above, in pink), and green apple (in green).
More than just a Chanel emblem, the white camellia is also an essential hydrating ingredient in the maison’s skincare line, Hydra Beauty.

Meanwhile, the Micro Gel Creme is meant for normal to oily skin. Depending on the seasons (as the year moves from cold and dry weather, to hot and humid), both creams can be alternated based on your skin’s needs.

For those that loved the hydrating power of the original unscented Micro Serum Levres lip serum, the same ultra-hydrating formula is now offered in two new scents. One is Tendre, a subtly sweet raspberry, blackcurrant and rose scent.

For something more invigorating, Frais offers a fresh green apple scent instead.
