Met Gala 2016: Best Beauty Looks From Kristen Stewart, Rita Ora & More

They came, they posed, they partied. This year's Met Gala theme was based on the museum's Manus x Machina exhibition, which explores how designers are navigating the world of handmade and machine-made couture. Accordingly, stars came dressed in some of the most out-of-this-world outfits (like, oh, Zayn Malik and his robotic arms). The beauty looks on display, however, were a study in translating the futuristic into more wearable - and fun - concepts. Check out our favourites below.

#1: Katy Perry's two-toned eye makeup and black lipstick is a Hunger Games-esque vision

#2: FKA Twigs gave Givenchy's facial embellishments a run for their money

#3: Ciara's metallic silver waves one-upped the granny-ish hairstyles that're so hot right now

#4: Lily Aldridge's majestically gilded brows (keep your brow game strong with these eyebrow products)

#5: Jourdan Dunn's sleek, silver-tinged 'do. In a word: #Goals.

#6: Gigi Hadid's bejewelled ponytail makes it a lot less run-of-the-mill.

#7: Willow Smith's smouldering gaze, accented with a shiny sequin placed directly under each pupil.

#8: Zendaya's mod take, complete with blunt bob and smoky eyes

#9: Rita Ora's mirrored hair embellishments gave her slicked-back 'do a lot more edge

#10: Kristen Stewart's "cyber punk" makeup look: Graphic lids, tiny side braid and pouffy fringe
