Careful, Don't Drop This Loewe Soap Now
Self-care just got better with Loewe launching a new soap collection to complement its growing home scents range.

Unless you've been a hermit, you would have seen images of Loewe's fantastical Spring Summer 2022 collection all about social media – dresses adorned with Dali-esque metal breastplates, sequinned party frocks with leg-holes, bags made out of what looks like terry cloth, and of course, the surrealist sandals with heels in the shape of crushed eggs, a nail polish bottle... and a bar of soap.

The latter is of particular concern if you're a fan of the Spanish house. That's because soaps are the star of a new range that's part of its growing homeware offerings titled Loewe Home Scents Soap Collection. Set to launch exclusively at the Casa Loewe store in Orchard on Octobber 7, the range currently comprises a trio of scents – Oregano, Scent of Marihuana and Liquorice – that promises to perfume the body while nourishing the skin. For obvious reasons, the Scent of Marihuana will not be sold here.

Inspired by ancient Greek and Roman practices of integrating therapeutic botanical essences into bathing rituals, the soaps come with 100 per cent natural pre-washed linen ropes attached to ensure a less slippery soaping experience. Below, a quick look at what you can expect from the launch.
This cleansing bar is perfumed with the sweet aroma of the liquorice plant’s roots (deep woody notes) that leaves the skin feeling soft and refreshed. It's enriched with particles of red algae which help to gently exfoliate.
If you enjoy fresh, herbaceous scents, this could be a good pick – the oregano solid soap gives off warm amber notes.
The Scent of Marihuana solid soap comes embedded with the soothing aroma (delicate woody notes) of the Sativa plant that leaves the skin feeling soft and refreshed. And like the Liquorice version, it also comes with exfoliating particles of red algae.
