It's a rich month for perfumes – Dior Beauty for starters, has introduced roll-on perfume sticks for two of its most feminine fragrances (Miss Dior Eau de Parfum and Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet), as well as a brand-new one – New Look – that is obviously inspired by the maison's signature fashion creation. Hermes too, sees two new fragrances joining its men's family and the premium Hermessence range – more details below.

DIOR ROLLS OUT PORTABLE SOLID PERFUMES

Dior
1/10

Two of Dior's most feminine fragrances – namely Miss Dior Eau de Parfum and Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet – have been translated into the realm of solid perfumes. Both perfumes are now available in an elegant and conveniently portable case with different colourways (all pink for the Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet; pink and grey for Miss Dior Eau de Parfum). These cases took inspiration from the miniature travelling presentation set that Monsieur Christian Dior used to deploy to present his couture collections – exact replicas of dresses, bags and shoes were carefully recreated in miniature so that they could be seen around the world when he travelled.

But it's not only the cases that are an innovation - the perfume itself is alcohol-free and comes with a transparent finish so that it won't stain your skin or clothes, and is said to melt comfortably onto the skin without leaving any sticky sensations.

The Miss Dior Mini Miss Eau de Parfum, $128 ($99 for a refill), and Miss Dior Mini Miss Blooming Bouquet, $104  ($80 for a refill), are now available at all Dior Beauty boutiques, counters and online store

HERMES RELEASES TWO NEW PERFUMES

Hermes
2/10

Fans of Hermes' olfactory creations have two new scents to look forward to. First up, the H24 men's line has been expanded; the newest flanker is named the H24 Herbes Vives (left), and it sounds perfect for those who dig elemental vibes. Hermes nose Christine Nagel wanted something that would smell like the city just after a rain. "I was inspired by the happy smell of nature after the rain, an aroma at once vegetal and earthy, fresh and musky," says Nagel. Those familiar with the original H24 can expect its vivid green notes taken further in the H24 Herbes Vives; Nagel has combined a bouquet of fresh herbs – savory, sorrel, hemp and parsley – alongside notes of pear granita and Physcool, a sensory molecule with hints of mint that leaves an impression of tingly coolness on the skin.

The other new creation to anticipate is the Oud Alezan (right), the 14th edition to the maison's Hermessence family – a premium range that sees each fragrance experimenting with two seemingly disparate materials and can be identified by the Hermessence bottle's distinctive leather cap with saddle stitch signature  Continuing in that vein, the Oud Alezan got its start when Nagel deliberately entered the stables to try to overcome her innate fear of horses – one of them brushed up against her and it was a memorable encounter for her.

A few years on, the perfumer came across a special oud – a note known for its sensorial, woody dry down – and it rekindled the memory of interacting with the horse. She sought to recreate that memory by blending oud with a natural, ‘‘petal-like’’ rose hydrosol and a rose oxide to create Oud Alezan.

The Hermes H24 Herbes vives Eau de Parfum ($54 for 15ml; $169 for 50ml; $231 f0r 100ml; $329 for 200ml refill) and Hermessence Oud Alezan Eau De Parfum ($75 for 15ml; $522 for 100ml; $825 for 200ml; $704 for 200ml refill) are now available at Hermes boutiques, counters and online store

LANEIGE GETS IN ON THE SKIN BARRIER REPAIR MOVEMENT

Laneige
4/10

Laneige is all in with the skin barrier repair game – they've revamped their popular Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic moisturiser family to incorporate more ingredients that fortify your skin barrier. The star ingredient is still the Korean skincare label's proprietary Blue Hyaluronic Acid, which is standard hyaluronic acid that's been subject to a distinctive double fermentation process with Fucoidan (a moisturising agent sourced from deep-sea algae) and a 10-step microfiltration refinement procedure to ensure faster and deeper absorption of the hydration into the skin.

The three moisturisers cater to different skin types – for oily skin folks, there's the Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Gel Moisturiser, a lightweight formula which incorporates betaine and mint leaf extract to calm the skin barrier and maintain a harmonised oil-moisture balance.

Normal to dry skin types should go for the Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream Moisturiser, which is enriched with Pepta Panthenol Complex to strengthen the skin's moisture barrier, while those with very dry and sensitive skin can opt for the Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Intensive Moisturiser, which features a special Omega Peptide component that establishes a protective moisture layer, reducing transient redness triggered by external irritants.

The Laneige Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Moisturisers ($63 each; $54 for refills) is available now at all Laneige stores, counters, and Sephora

PAT MCGRATH UPS HER EYE MAKEUP GAME

Pat McGrath Labs
5/10

The queen mother of makeup has been all over our feeds this week thanks to the stunning work she created for that Maison Margiela couture show and she's rolling out some new goodies for her label. There's the IntensifEYES Longwear Primer, which is her first eye shadow primer: it's designed to allow all types of formulas (matte, satin and pearl powder) to be layered on easily and quickly, and is said to be resistant to sweat. It's also reportedly crease-proof, non-smudging, locking in any eye shadow applied on top for 24-hour wear.

There's also a new eyeshadow palette to go with it - named Mothership XI: Sunlit Seduction, it contains ten solar-inspired shades that come in five finishes. The palette showcases ethereal floral mattes, poetic pinks, and sultry burgundy orchids, complemented by illuminators, gleaming metals, and sparkling astrals, promising a versatile eye makeup experience.

The Mothership XI: Sunlit Seduction ($202) and IntensifEYES Longwear Primer ($52) is now available at all Sephora boutiques and online store

DIOR'S NEWEST PERFUME WAS INSPIRED BY THE MAISON'S ICONIC NEW LOOK

Dior
6/10

Dior perfume creative director Francis Kurkdjian's latest scent is one that returns all the way to the maison's roots: the sumptuous New Look style created by the late Christian Dior that changed the direction of the fashion industry when it debuted in 1947. The scent is named La Collection Privee Christian Dior New Look, and it features a silhouette defined by carefully layered olfactory raw materials. Frankincense plays a big role, imparting a distinctive freshness, and its complemented by a deep and warm amber accord to add softness. Rounding off the composition is an overdose of aldehyde, which enhances the radiance of frankincense, contributing to what the brand calls a "sense of astonishment and mystery".

"To be true to Christian Dior, who wanted his perfumes to provide an olfactory reflection of his couture, I wanted to continue that perfect synergy between fashion and fragrance, in a completely audacious style. I therefore aimed to create a perfume that echoes the spirit, the nuances and the essence of today’s New Look. This incredibly modern Dior fashion is imbued with avant-garde beauty and vitality, and combines beautiful fabrics with cuts that liberate the body while emphasizing its curves and sensuality," says Kurkdjian.

The La Collection Privee Christian Dior New Look ($215 for 40ml, $435 for 100ml, $645 for 250ml) is now exclusively available at the La Collection Privée Christian Dior ION Orchard boutique, Dior Beauty Marina Bay Sands boutique and the Dior online store

YSL BEAUTY INTRODUCES A SOFTER TAKE TO MEN'S FRAGRANCE

YSL Beauty
8/10

Who says men's fragrances can't be all about flowers? YSL Beauty is betting big on a softer take on masculinity with their latest men's fragrances, MYSLF, which focuses heavily on floral and citrus notes such as orange blossom and vert de bergamot (a new green take on bergamot). There's also a subtle woody signature to MYSLF, created using AmbrofixTM, a 100 per cent natural biotech material derived from sugar cane, which enhances the scent with modern, sensual woody amber vibes.  The perfume also contains Indonesian patchouli heart, which is meticulously crafted to infuse the essence with more radiance and fewer earthy tones compared to traditional patchouli, resulting in a sensual and enveloping element that brings warmth and richness to MYSLF's signature orange blossom accord.

The MYSLF Eau de Parfum ($154 for 60ml; $207 for 100ml) is available at all YSL Beauty boutiques and online store

DR DENNIS GROSS WANTS TO GIVE YOU FULLER LIPS (WITHOUT FILLERS)

Dr Dennis Gross
9/10

Peptides, especially in lip products (hello Hailey Bieber), have been having a massive moment in recent months and Dr Dennis Gross is the latest to join the bandwagon with the label's new DermInfusions Plump + Repair Lip Treatment. The product is said to be an advanced topical solution featuring four different molecular weights of hyaluronic acid and a peptide-based volumising complex. This innovative treatment provides immediate plumping, definition, enhancement of natural colour, and healing hydration for dry, chapped lips. The lip treatment incorporates the restoring properties of squalane, bisabolol, and centella asiatica to promote a fuller and healthier-looking pout that's reportedly visible.

Alongside this lip treatment, there's also a device that's designed to boost its effects – the DRX SpectraLite LipWare Pro. The device incorporates 56 red LED lights designed to address the entire lip area, combating visible signs of ageing like fine lines, wrinkles, and creases. By stimulating the natural production of collagen, the targeted LED red lights work within a brief three-minute treatment, penetrating the delicate lip skin. This promotes improved circulation, resulting in enhanced natural colour and visibly fuller, more defined lips.

The DermInfusions Plump + Repair Lip Treatment ($72) and DRX SpectraLite LipWare Pro ($238) are now available in Sephora stores and sephora.sg

CLE DE PEAU BEAUTE DROPS AN ANTI-AGEING EYE CREAM

Cle de Peau
10/10

Cle de Peau Beaute is introducing the Eye Contour Cream Supreme as the latest addition to its Supreme Age Artisan Series. The development of this eye cream is based on the Japanese skincare label's research into the skin's structural pillars, revealing the role of actin fibres in maintaining the firmness of the skin around the eyes. Strengthening actin fibres supports the eye area, preventing contour changes and improving existing signs of ageing.

Key ingredients include Lempuyang extract - this extract is said to be five times more concentrated than previous formulations, contributing significantly to the eye cream's efficacy, and it helps to enhance actin fibre production. There's also Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract, which aids in increasing blood oxygen saturation and promoting healthy blood circulation to the eye area, resulting in a brightened complexion in the under-eye area.

The Cle de Peau Beaute Eye Contour Cream Supreme ($360 for 15ml) is now available at Cle de Peau Beaute Mandarin Gallery Flagship Store, Takashimaya, Radiance Counter at Metro Paragon, Tangs at Tang Plaza, Isetan Scotts and BHG Bugis
