Singapore Brands Go Pink For Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The Estee Lauder Companies gets the help of Singapore retailers and brands for its efforts to raise funds for breast cancer research.

Over the last 28 years, the Estee Lauder Companies has held a strong footing in "uniting and inspiring people globally in [its] mission to create a breast cancer-free world" every Oct during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

As the beauty giant continues to run its annual breast cancer campaign worldwide and in Singapore support long-term beneficiaries like the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) and Singapore General Hospital, it is also taking extra initiatives to make an impact closer home.

This year, it has partnered with retailers, brands and hotels here to amplify the message and fulfill the goal to raise $20,000 through social and internal fund-raising activations.

"Our efforts will be amplified by the government’s dollar-for-dollar match. In addition, proceeds from our participating brands’ annual pink ribbon product sales will go towards supporting The Breast Cancer Research Foundation," says Margaret Chooi, managing director of Estee Lauder Cosmetics.
