What they do: Fancy a twinkling spider on your teeth? Or perhaps an adorable Hello Kitty arrangement? Pixie Tooth Gem has you covered. Located in the creative enclave that is Pearl’s Hill Terrace, Pixie Tooth Gem is an experimental tooth gem studio known for its creative and eye-catching designs. From multi-coloured full row sets to artful arrangements made entirely from the same kind of gems, this tooth gem artist can create a design for every kind of vibe. “What I love most is how the same gem can create a completely different look depending on the combination and who wears it,” the artist shares.

Who’s behind it: After being introduced to grillz through hip-hop culture when she was younger and getting her first tooth gem done in Bangkok, the interest in dental jewellery has always lingered in the back of 32-year-old Kim’s mind. She started Pixie Tooth Gem shortly after as an outlet to create styles and combinations that reflected her own aesthetic and perspective. Over the years, her knack for creating unique conversation starting sets has gained her a repertoire of returning clients. “Seeing something that started as a small styling detail become part of someone’s personal expression is one of the most rewarding parts of the journey,” she shares.
