For the month of June, Female celebrates the spirit of independence in the world of fashion, photography and pop culture. When it comes to beauty, there is nothing more liberating than a short hair do. For one, it's a low-maintenance look which was last big in the '90s thanks to women like Winona Ryder and making a comeback whether it's a pixie, a bob or a blunt chop. Another reason why the look is hot now: It's the edgy hairstyles of top models like EZ, Nina Milner, Birgit Kos, and Chu Wong.
