Alexander Wang Has Just Dropped His Playlists On Apple Music
Party prince Alexander Wang is the first designer to be featured on Apple Music's fashion curator programme.
By ISABEL ONG,
Alexander Wang and "party" go together like t-shirts and jeans. His after-parties regularly feature the who's who in fashion; he counts cool-girl models Lexi Boling, Hanne Gaby Odiele and Anna Ewers as members of his party posse; and he even made a cameo appearance in a music video for Madonna.
His latest turn as a DJ, then, is something that seems almost natural (and effortless) for the American designer. Apple Music tapped him for its inaugural fashion curator programme, which aims to celebrate the connections between the fashion and music worlds and was launched just yesterday in New York (see the teaser video below). Wang has curated three playlists - chill, hype and vibe - reflecting different moods and featuring a mix of hip-hop, R&B, dance and jungle trap. Sounds like it'll come in handy for your next house party.
