Balenciaga And PUBG Team Up For A Stylish Collaboration
PUBG just got some in-game Balenciaga drip.
By Lucy Lauron,
Balenciaga just announced its collaboration with video game, PUBG: Battlegrounds, an online multi-player game where players fight each other to be the last player standing. This isn’t Balenciaga’s first foray into gaming – the brand launched their own web-based online game Afterworld: The Age of Tomorrow in 2023.
This new collaboration with PUBG dropped on November 14 and includes in-game designer drip, and merchandise that are available online and in-store. That said, only six countries have the merchandise available in-store: Singapore, Australia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States.
Players can unlock these exclusive Balenciaga looks and pieces. Spot any familiar pieces? Say, the Couture Armor look inspired by a 3D-printed dress from Balenciaga’s 52nd Couture Collection, or the look on the far left from the Winter 25 Collection, and the iconic Explorer, Le City, and Superbusy bags?
For the PUBG fans: there’s more. For the PUBG Global Competitions from December 12 to 15, Balenciaga will be granting a custom Balenciaga bomber jacket (yes, a physical one) to each player on the winning teams. More details will be given closer to the tournaments. In the meantime, scroll on for a look at the merchandise.
