There's A Hot New Beach Club In Sentosa
Ola Beach Club doesn't just serve as a great seaside destination; it's also the only one in Singapore that offers thrilling water-propelled Jetpack rides.

Located on Siloso Beach, Ola Beach Club brings a slice of Hawaiian living to Singapore with tropical drinks and food inspired by the sun-kissed state.
The one thing you'll realise when you step in is how big the entire space is. The ground floor seats up to 100 people, while the upper floor seats 47 and can also be converted into an event space. With day beds, private cabanas, a swimming pool, a well-stocked bar and a resident DJ spinning his tunes all night, it's a great way to shoot the breeze (and flaunt your new bikini at the same time).
Dishes on the menu are Hawaiian-inspired, so you can expect hearty fare like the Ahi Poke Bowl ($20), which comprises diced tuna marinated in shoyu, kimchi or togarashi dressing alongside guacamole, pumpkin seeds, pomegranate seeds and pineapple. The Kahlua Pig Taco ($25) features one-day cured pork shoulder that's been steamed for three hours so the meat is ultra tender.
For more substantial mains, opt for a Hawaiian version of teriyaki chicken, Huli-Huli chicken ($26), which has chicken thigh and breast steeped in a teriyaki marinade and sous vide till it's packed with flavour.
Dessert offerings here, too, will please anyone with a sweet tooth. There's Haupia Sphere ($22), a chocolate and coconut confection inspired by a traditional Hawaiian coconut pudding. Another must-try, the Baked Hawaii ($15), comes in a pineapple-shaped copper vessel and comprises vanilla bean ice cream with aloe vera, nata de coco and pineapple confit underneath an airy meringue, which is flambéed with Malibu rum.
Tiki-themed tipples are another menu highlight. Uliuli Tiki is a mix of Blue Curacao liqueur, vodka, homemade vanilla passion fruit puree and coconut froth, while Melemele Tiki ($22), the club's version of pina colada, has rum, cream, coconut juice and cinnamon banana puree.
The biggest draw here, however, has to be their water sport options. It's the first place in Asia that allows you to rent a water-propelled Jet Pack, which will have you speeding through the air at a top speed of 40 kilometres per hour and at a maximum height of nine metres. This month, they'll be debuting another cool contraption, the Jetblade, which allows you to soar at least 15 metres above the water surface. Now who says Singapore is boring?
