From Valentine’s Day to Lunar New Year, the shortest month of the year is disproportionately filled with special occasions. The same holds true for Singapore’s nightlife scene, which is back in full swing after the (relative) calm of January. February’s highlights include an interstellar collaboration between Midnight Shift and Strange Weather, bidding farewell to Ice Cream Sundays’ beloved Japanese resident, and celebrating the second anniversary of the island’s finest music-centric bar, Offtrack. Grab our hand and don’t spill your drinks as we guide you through the month’s coolest dance floors.

FEB 24: ICS PRESENTS: MONKEY TIMERS

Ice Cream Sundays
7/7

After helming their own Sunda festival and travelling across Asia for showcases at Hong Kong’s Shi Fu Miz and Thailand’s Wonderfruit, no one would have blamed Ice Cream Sundays (ICS) if they decided to take time off to recharge. But the hardworking crew is back at it with another exhilarating daytime party at Tanjong Pagar Distripark. ICS jumpstarts their year by inviting special guests Monkey Timers to their latest outdoor shindig. Made up of Takekawa and Hisashi from Disko Klubb, this duo has been leading Tokyo’s underground scene for 15 years now, and we’re psyched to see them export their new house and disco dub flavour to Singapore. For dessert, they’ll be joined by the triple scoop of Bongomann, Toppings, and Muto, who’ll be playing his sayonara set before he relocates to Japan.
