Chanel Takes Cuba: Hot Cars, Karl Lagerfeld Dancing & More Fashionable Snapshots

Trust Karl Lagerfeld to make a fashion show so much more than just, well, that. Set in Havana, Cuba, Chanel's Cruise 16/17 collection was everything we envisioned a trippy holiday escapade to be. Cases in point: the vintage cars that sent guests to the show venue; a congo line that took place on the runway post-show; the collection's travel-ready collectables (berets, pins, et all); and the Kaiser taking the dance floor in the after-party. Below, the most fashionable moments of the evening.

Now that's arriving in style: Guests were ferried to the show in the coolest convertibles.

The kind of traffic jam we'd love to be stuck in.

Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen couldn't resist posing with the antique cars...

... as did American model Lindsey Wixson.

The beret, the embellished pencil skirts, the choker - we want 'em all.

Joined the Coco Club yet? Chanel takes travel accessories to the next level with this oversized logo drawstring tote.

When it comes to resort dressing, Karl does it best.

And he's also a genius at OTT embellishments.

The avocado-shaped Chanel pin everyone on Instagram is lusting for right now.

Patterned tiles have been turned into prints on accessories, while still retaining the house's signature quilted motif.

As in every Chanel show, the final walk was one stylish sashay - but with a touch of feet-tapping Cuban music this time.

Karl took his bow in a sequinned Saint Laurent jacket from Spring '16.

And ended the night by dancing with French actress/singer Cecile Cassel to - what else - a Cuban jam.
