Add The Dior Gold House To Your Must-Visit List in Bangkok
A golden facade in the heart of Bangkok is Dior’s bold way of standing out.

As if Bangkok’s retail and nightlife offerings and its adjacent art and culture scene weren’t already extra, the city's Phloen Chit district just levelled up with the unveiling of the Dior Gold House. This concept store is part of Dior’s Around the World odyssey and promises to evolve with every new season and collection. Its facade? A golden replica of 30 Avenue Montaigne, Dior’s OG home in Paris, blending timeless elegance with a bold Thai twist.
The facade of Dior Gold House shimmers in gold, evoking the opulence of Thailand’s grand traditional architecture.
The vibe outside is pure paradise, surrounded by lush gardens channeling Christian Dior’s love for nature. Inside, the approximately 10,764 sq ft space gleams with gold mosaics handcrafted by Thai artisans. The design also flexes natural materials like bamboo, wood, and raffia, all paired with Dior’s iconic motifs like the Lucky Star, Toile de Jouy, and Plan de Paris prints.
Saran Yen Panya of multidisciplinary design house 56th Studio is the creative mind behind the drivable tuk-tuk installation, crafted using rattan, Chantaburi-sourced reed, and brass.
The store doubles as an art gallery, featuring works by nine renowned Thai artists. Highlights include Boonserm Premthada’s installations made from elephant footprints, Saran Yen Panya’s tuk-tuk-inspired pieces, and Wishulada Panthanuvong’s sculptures. Eggarat Wongcharit and the Sumphat duo (Rush Pleansuk and Philippe Moisan) round it out with their dreamy furniture pieces.
Vassana Saima and Savin Saima are the artists behind this exquisite installation of bamboo-crafted Lady Dior bags.
The store has everything Dior – think Maria Grazia Chiuri’s ready-to-wear, Kim Jones’ menswear, accessories, jewellery, and Dior Maison’s chic tableware. Major highlight? A standout feature is a dedicated space for Lady Dior bags crafted from bamboo by artists Vassana Saima and Savin Saima.
Cafe Dior’s menu is expertly curated by three-Michelin-starred Chef Mauro Colagreco.
Adding to the opulence is Cafe Dior, an enchanting space inspired by nature, featuring intricate botanical designs. Its menu, curated by three-Michelin-starred Chef Mauro Colagreco, draws on themes central to Dior’s couture legacy, blending exquisite flavours with artistic presentation.
