Exclusive! We're in Tokyo For a Preview of Givenchy's Fall Winter 2015 Collection

The boss (JE) was in Tokyo for an exclusive look at Givenchy's Fall/Winter 2015 collection, as well as an exhibition of the French designer's work since the '50s. #GivenchyTokyo

"This is the first of five pillars (Uniqueness, Urban, Contrasts, Family and Exclusivitiy) of Givenchy past and present. The first showcased three dresses from Hubert de Givenchy. The dress in front is the iconic dress that Audrey Hepburn wore in the opening scene of Breakfast at Tiffany's (the one where she's eating a croissant and holding takeaway coffee while gazing lovingly into the windows of the famous store). The four walls of the first space are plastered with images from Hubert's fashion career from the '50s until he retired."

"This is the second space of the presentation. Similarly to the first, this one showcases Riccardo Tisci's 10-year tenure at Givenchy as its creative director. Walls are plastered with press coverage and tears of his work for the French house. The three outfits on show are from Tisci's collections."

 "This is the third space, which showcased key pieces from the ladies and men's Prefall and Fall collections, including accessories and leather goods."

"The fourth space is like a dark cave with bags encased in Perspex. Five of the bags on show were the brand's key bags."
