On Our August Spotify Playlist: 20 Songs About 'Home'

Google "songs about home" and you will be greeted with a multitude of hits ranging from Sweet Home Alabama by rocker daddies Lynyrd Skynyrd to, ahem yes, Home by local chanteuse Kit Chan. Suffice to say, the theme of home resonates with most of us.

Over at Female, the concept of the home takes on a more multi-faceted meaning for August as we roll out our monthly playlist to accompany the Home Sweet Home edition which examines new definitions of what a home is today's age of self-isolation.

Our 20-track playlist pays homage to the home theme with songs that have the word "home" or "house" in their titles. These include the iconic pop ditty Our House by Madness or the infectious Homemade Dynamite by Lorde. Spoiler alert: There's no Kit Chan in the list in case you're wondering.
