Fashion, film, music, art. The Festival Cinema Paradiso Louvre has always been an event that Chanel has supported. After all, the maison has a century-long legacy of supporting the arts, and cinema is no exception. Co-produced by mk2 and the Louvre museum, the festival brings cinema and music to the streets of Paris with open-air screenings and live music. Completely free, by the way.

From July 2 to 5, the festival transforms the Louvre's Cour Carree into an outdoor celebration for the arts. Last year, the festival transformed the Grand Palais into a drive-in theatre. This year, the Louvre museum is having its moment. With live music, DJ sets, food trucks, and film screenings- it's the most romantic way to celebrate the arts. Even long-time Chanel collaborator, director Sofia Coppola, stopped by on the opening night and screened a restored version of her iconic debut film: Virgin Suicides.

Movie buffs have even more to look forward to. In addition to Coppola's appearance and a screening of Virgin Suicides, other contemporary classics are being screened; each selected based on the theme 'Fashion & Cinema.' Wong Kar-wai's In the Mood for Love, David Lynch's Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me and the public premiere of The Secret Agent by Kleber Mendonca Filho (it won four awards at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival)- each on a 24-meter-wide screen.

The icon herself: Sofia Coppola, presenting the restored version of Virgin Suicides.

A gorgeous summer night in the city of love, spent chilling at the Louvre. Not to mention access to critically acclaimed films, good food, and live music and DJ sets. It's a gorgeous way to celebrate the arts.
