It’s that time of the year again: Formula 1 is back in town. On October 4 and 5, the Marina Bay circuit comes to life with the season’s only night race. Take in the glitz and glamour of F1 races with a slew of events, activities, and parties. There’s quite literally something for everyone: foodies, fashionistas, party girls, and even wellness fiends. Here are ten events happening right now and throughout the upcoming race weekend.
RACE DAY WATCH PARTIES @ THE WINERY TAPAS BAR
Gear up for: For those who want to spend race weekend with a community of F1 fans, you’re looking for race-day watch parties with drinks, vibes and all-day happy hour specials, this food spot is perfect. With an all-day happy hour promo for draft beers, wines, premium spirits, and cocktails, your race weekend is bound to be filled with vibes, bites, and the exhilaration of F1 races.

MUSIC MATTERS LIVE
Gear up for: For the Formula 1 fans who fuel up with live music and partying, you should be heading down to Clarke Quay for this 4-day live music festival. A flagship event of the Singapore Grand Prix Season (GPSS), Music Matters Live’s 20th iteration will be holding free music showcases across genres, from J-Pop, to rock, to electro. Emerging artists from across 18 countries (including Singapore) will be playing, including Singapore-based singer-songwriter Shye, J-Pop group Psychic Fever from Exile Tribe, Filipino singer and actor James Reid, Singapore-based singer-songwriter Mila Bea, Australian singer Go-Jo, Singaporean live-streamer and singer-songwriter Supercatkei, and so many more.

#99 SPEED CARNIVAL - F1 MERCHANDISE ROADSHOW
Gear up for: F1 shopping paradise. If you’re a F1 fan who loves collectibles, this is the merchandise showcase you need to visit. With merchandise and collectibles from six F1 teams (Ferrari, Mercedes, Alpine, Aston Martin, McLaren and Red Bull Racing), get all the limited editions like the TikTok-viral Lego Speed Champions car model sets, and limited-edition Senna McLaren livery from the 2024 Monaco Grand Prix, starring Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.

Gear up for: Healing your inner child with this F1-edition Hot Wheels pop-up. GPSS APEX LEAGUE BY OUTDRIVE GP
Gear up for: Competitive race simulations. For F1 fans with a major competitive streak, this event is perfect for you. OutDrive GP is the largest on-site racing simulator championship. With public challenges, exhibition races featuring pro drivers, and e-racing competitions, show off you e-racing skills and win yourself some prizes.

BARCODE
Gear up for: If what you want for your F1 weekend is cocktails and good music, Barcode might be more your speed. Presented by The Orientalist Spirits (a pan-Asian craft spirits company), Barcode is bringing world-renowned bartenders and DJs from Germany to Hong Kong. For two nights of drinks, music, and vibes. Gear up for: For the sober party crowd: the Gen Z favourite day-party collective, Beans and Beats, will be taking over Fountain Square at Clarke Quay. It’s the ultimate sober F1 experience: plenty of bass, the electric atmosphere that comes with race weekends, and special brews (like Orange Maple Matcha, and Orange Maple coffee, courtesy of Cotob Coffee). The best part? Attendance is free.

OVERDRIVE: RACE WEEKEND @ CE LA VIE
Gear up for: The ultimate F1 weekend party. Ce La Vi brings back its F1-special music program ‘Overdrive: Race Weekend’ for 38 hours of partying. With musical headliners like Canadian house icon Art Department, Kunda, and Ce La Vi residents, it’s bound to be a high-energy (and high-rise) event. Bonus points for breakfast bites that will be served on October 4, from 4am, for the hard-core partiers who will definitely need sustainance.

DAY-TO-NIGHT WELLNESS AND PARTYING WEEKEND
Gear up for: A weekend of rest, relaxation, and racing. It’s the best of both worlds: mornings spent focusing on wellness, and nights partying by the pool. At 8am, you’ll be doing floating soundbaths and chakra-aligning dance sessions with Mae Kwan (a wellness coach), and 5km morning runs. As the sun sets, QT’s pool deck will be taken over by a line-up of DJs, complete with poolside drinks and cocktails.
