Babymetal backstage before their performance at Downtown.
Meanwhile the entertainment acts rocked Singapore to its core. F ZINE had a backstage moment with Japanese kawaii metal band Babymetal, and they were so sweet in our Q&A sesh. Unfortunately, our microphone wasn’t powerful enough to survive Alan Walker’s hype EDM set at the Padang stage. Nonetheless, Su-metal, Moa-metal, Momo-metal were so sweet and adorable that we still had to boast about our backstage moment.
Over at Downtown stage, the group performed eight songs, including Babymetal Death, Pa Pa Ya, RATATA and Gimme Chocolate!
Foo Fighters performing at Padang stage.
The Foo Fighters drew a visibly diverse crowd, something lead singer Dave Grohl acknowledged by asking who was seeing the band for the first time and vowed to wow them over: “I’m gonna get you in the palm of my hands.”
Main lead Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters.
An astounding number of hands immediately shot up in response. He also stressed that to some, this was nostalgia, but with over 30 years performing in the business it was something they see themselves doing for life.
The rock band played a total of 21 songs including hits from their first album, This Is A Call and Big Me. The loudest screams in the field was when the crowd went wild for Everlong, Learn To Fly and My Hero. As a tribute to Motorheads, they covered a snippet of Ace Of Spades.

Clean Bandit at Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2025
As the drivers burn up the road, F ZINE got behind the Wharf stage to have a chat with Grammy-winning English electronic music group Clean Bandit just before their 7.30pm set. Grace Chatto, who greeted us in her cool Balenciaga knife heels, was in high spirits and got down to answering our burning questions. Accompanying her was Molly Fletcher, a long-time collaborator who’s also toured with the band at events like Ultra Music Festival and in Kyoto, Japan.
Chatto tells us: “It is amazing that our songs have travelled through time and continents. It’s so beautiful to be here in Singapore. As soon as we came out of the airport, we felt like, happy!” Fletcher couldn’t agree more: “Transported and thrilled!”
Clean Bandit performs at the Wharf Stage
The group performed their new single, Believe at the Wharf stage and Chatto says it’s a precursor to an upcoming new album. “We’re still finishing the album but we’re hoping to wrap it sometime by the first half of next year. We’re about to release a second song and also go on a big tour across Asia. So we’re quite excited about that,” Chatto adds.
Clean Bandit, who’s performed with Chinese artist Henry Lau in the past, is keen to collaborate with K-Pop artists in the future. Sounds like an exciting formula to us!
Fletcher, who’s no stranger to the band, says she has an amazing synergy with the members. “It’s beautiful. The spirit of Clean Bandit is so palpable and working together has been so exciting.”
The band performed hit songs like ‘Solo’ and ‘Rockabye.’
The band who started performing sharp at 7.30pm at the Wharf stage, delivered some of their best and memorable tunes like, Solo, I Miss You, Drive, Stronger, Rockabye, and Rather Be also debuted their new song, Pinch Me, which is about how when you get out of a toxic relationship but keep wanting to go back and you need someone to pinch you to remind you of that. #Truth

He performed his solo from his newest album Ubermensch, like Power and Take Me, and other solo hits like Crayon and Crooked. He even surprised us with his rendition of rap GOAT, Kendrick Lamar’s Not Like Us.
