Isle Style: 12 Super Pretty Ideas For A Tropical Wedding in Bali

"I never thought I’d ever end up with Matthew. We’d been long-time friends in Singapore, and when we met again in Bali after four years apart, we fell head over heels for each other. It sounds cliched but he completes me."

"Our wedding in Bali, which is where we live now, was a union of not only two people, but families and friends as well. We both live away from our families, so our guest list consisted of friends and relatives, who were dear to us and from all over the world. What made it all the more special was having Matthew’s childhood best friend, Bones (Andy), officiate at our wedding, and it was just so beautiful. We wanted everyone, who came from different cultures, to feel the island holiday vibe so ours had a tropical theme with lots of pineapples! We designed everything ourselves – from the invitations and favours to our wedding website, menus and even the drinks list."

"And we had so much fun putting our playlist together as Matthew works in the music industry, as do many of our guests.Nothing felt forced; we were so at ease the whole time. The most romantic moment was when we looked at each other as my dad walked me to the arbor. As for our pictures, neither of us enjoys posing so we were grateful that the photographer did a great job capturing beautiful candid moments throughout the event."
