In Tokyo last Thursday for the Calvin Klein Watches & Jewelry 2016 launch, Korean actor and face of the brand Kim Woo Bin reveals his wardrobe staples, favourite travel destination and more.
Top three wardrobe essentials
"Calvin Klein underwear - it's a basic essential. A Calvin Klein knit sweater, which I wore on the way to Japan in the aeroplane. And the Calvin Klein Step watch (from the 2016 collection): It has (a very attractive) combination of material and colour (choose from a grey, silver or petrol green dial with silver or pink gold hands for the new unisex style)."
The Hollywood star he'd love to work with
"American actor Brad Pitt. I admire his acting skills and how he's good in many other fields (like producing the award-winning film 12 Years A Slave). In Korea, we use the term "bang-hyeong" to describe stars like Pitt. "Bang" refers to "sensational" and "hyeong" means "elder brother". If I ever get a chance to work with "bang-hyeong", I will seize it."
Most inspiring travel destination
"China: I went to many different cities there last year and met a lot of fans. I've cultivated a lot of wonderful memories there."
