The Korean Film Festival Brings 14 Public Screenings To Singapore This October 2026
This year’s edition is celebrating two decades in Singapore with 14 films spanning everything from an award-winning animation to love stories and, naturally, zombies.
By Gabrielle Angela Anderson,
October is looking pretty booked for film lovers. Marking two decades of Korean storytelling in Singapore, the Korean Film Festival is back from October 8 to 18 with 14 public screenings across Golden Village Suntec City and Scape.
This year’s edition explores the theme Stories Unseen, which looks beyond the familiar narratives of Korea, turning the spotlight towards stories of the elderly, North Korean defectors, LGBTQ+ communities and multicultural families, and the different ways they all fit into modern Korean society.
There’s plenty to browse through, but a few titles have already caught our eye. Check out our top picks from Singapore’s Korean Film Festival 2026 below.
