Following the release of her Grammy-winning 2025 album Mayhem, the sold-out The Mayhem Ball tour, and her catchy new song with Doechii as featured in The Devil Wears Prada 2, it’s safe to say that Lady Gaga has no intentions of slowing down. Now, Mother Monster returns with an exclusive Mayhem Requiem performance that all you Little Monsters surely don’t want to miss out on.
What is Lady Gaga: Mayhem Requiem?
In case you didn’t know, the multi-hyphenate popstar held an intimate live event in Los Angeles for fans earlier this year. This was no regular concert though, but rather a phone-free, one-night-only theatrical performance of her seventh album Mayhem.
Staged at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, Lady Gaga: Mayhem Requiem featured reimagined tracks from Gaga’s Grammy-winning album, and was performed to an exclusive crowd of approximately 2,000 fans. During the show, the pop star performed amidst the crumbling ruins of the Mayhem Ball tour set – a symbolic “funeral” for her Mayhem era.
What songs were performed at Lady Gaga: Mayhem Requiem?
If you thought you went gaga for the Mayhem songs, think again – the reimagined tracks from Lady Gaga: Mayhem Requiem sound even more unreal. Performing all 14 album tracks during the show, Gaga reinterpreted the original pop, electronic-leaning songs to sound darker, and more synth-driven.
Iconic songs like Abracadabra and Killah were reworked into a stripped-back piano performance and a heavy, industrial rock-inspired rendition respectively, while her chart-topping pop ballad duet Die with a Smile with Bruno Mars was reimagined as an electro-funk piece. Watch the performance for Die with a Smile below:
