U.S. Girls > Woman's Work. Toronto based Meg Remy aka U.S. Girls will release her new album Half Free on Sept 29. Produced by Onakabazien, other collaborators include Slim Twig (DFA) and Tony Price.
Alabama Shakes > Dunes. Fresh from a great performance from Glasto, the band treat us to their studio performance of Dunes, from their acclaimed album Sound & Colour (listen to that title track here).
L.A. Priest > Learning to Love. Former Late of the Pier member Sam Dust has released new album Inji under new moniker. Check out his debut single/video – a fun disco-pop ditty.
Mikal Cronin > Say. This Californian singer-songwriter's third album MCIII is out, and continues to entertain us with jaunty guitar pop songs.
Florence + The Machine > Ship to Wreck. Fresh too from a triumphant headlining performance at Glastonbury. Get a load of this, from their super album How Big How Blue How Beautiful. "Did I dream too much / Am I losing touch / Did I build a ship - to wreck?" Never, Florence, never.
