We're in the middle of a packed Pride Month calendar, and one of the highlights is definitely the annual Pinky Kiki Ball. This fabulous event took place on June 15 at the Hard Rock Cafe and was organised by the homegrown ballroom outfit Vogue In Progress and the Riot! drag show, hosted by Becca D'Bus.

For the uninitiated, a kiki ball is a more experimental and lighthearted edition of the ballroom subculture within the queer community, known for its riotous segments. This year, the theme was "A Riot of Colours," inspired by the vibrant palette of local kueh, and it was notable for featuring several new faces and young blood who just joined the scene. Scroll for a peek at the infectious energy on the runway and among the crowd. P.S. Try guessing which performance looks were inspired by various kuehs like kueh salat and tu tu kueh.
