Hostesses with a different kind of “mostess”: Fashion designer Rachael Cheong (left) and artist/creative producer Sheryll Goh, whose installation/dining/party experience Awkward Party was inspired by the gawky interactions that tend to take place at Asian family gatherings and designed to intentionally make guests feel uncomfortable and in turn self-reflect.
