By Rachel Yohannan,
It’s set to be yet another exciting round of Singapore Art Week (SAW) — the island’s largest arts event — running from January 22-31 2026. Other than the ever-dazzling key event Light To Night, there’s a whole slew of thought-provoking activations to check out during this 10-day arts bash — and we’re making a beeline for Where Art Takes Shape at Marina Bay Sands. From a massive art fair to film screenings and a futuristic AI-focused exhibition at ArtScience Museum, here’s what you should clear your calendar for at MBS this SAW 2026.

Also as part of the programme for the very first time is SEA Focus, featuring a series of engaging panel talks and dialogue sessions surrounding the art landscape in Southeast Asia.
Don’t forget: Tickets are redeemable using your SG Culture Pass credits, so you’ll essentially be able to enter for free. Otherwise, entry starts from $32 for two persons. Find out more about the best highlights at ART SG 2026 here.

If that’s not enough soul-searching, check out Visions of the Future – ArtScience Museum’s own film programme with both free and ticketed shows. The current line-up that’s on till early February involves films that explore paths of alternate futures, rooted in rituals and myths.

Each session lasts 2.5 hours. Entry is free and registration is not required. Find out more about Would You Tell Me a Story Until I Fall Asleep? here.
