Best Strawberry Matcha Lattes You Must Try in Singapore
Pink and green? We aren’t talking about Wicked, we’re talking about the latest strawberry matcha craze.
By Sarah Adriana, Tricia Teong,
A delicate dance of pink and green has taken over Singapore’s cafes, captivating both palates and social feeds - strawberry matcha lattes (a spin on the popular matcha latte) have been dominating our social media feeds of late.
From cosy neighborhood cafes to sleek specialty coffee spots, everyone’s putting their own spin on this viral favourite. Some use house made strawberry compote, others go for fruit purees, while a few add their own signature touch - think cloud-like foams. The best part? No two versions are exactly alike, which means there’s always a new one to try.
Luckily, you don’t have to scroll far to find the prettiest strawberry matcha in town. Whether you love it frothy and light, packed with juicy fruit bits, or rich and creamy, we’ve rounded up the top spots in Singapore serving up this picture-perfect drink.
WONG FU FU
Singapore's matcha craze just got bigger, literally.
Can't get enough of strawberry matcha lattes? Neither can the folks at the Taiwanese-style restaurant Wong Fu Fu, famous for their jumbo-sized drinks (they just released a 10-liter milk tea in March). To celebrate their Crayon Shin-chan pop-up from 19 June to 19 August, they're debuting Singapore’s first-ever five-litre matcha lattes in original and strawberry (the strawberry costs $10 more). Be sure to bring your matcha-loving friends as there's $20 minimum spend per adult (before service charge) on pop-up menu items.
Why we love it: This mega strawberry matcha latte is a feast for senses, crafted from the popular Niko Neko matcha powder with tea leaves sourced from Japan, Meiji fresh full cream milk and fresh strawberry puree.
Price: $69.90
Their regular-sized strawberry matcha lattes are also available at $10.90.

ECHO @ KADA
Not all strawberry matchas are made the same. While some cafes use syrups, strawberry milk, or even foam to achieve that pink layer, ECHO @ KADA keeps it simple. They use ceremonial-grade matcha as the base, offering richer soybean notes, paired with real strawberry puree for a more natural, less artificial taste. The result? A drink that’s refreshingly balanced and never too sweet.
Why we love it: Unlike other versions that lean too heavily on either the matcha or strawberry, this one stays perfectly balanced. The strawberry puree isn't overly sweet, and it retains a certain tanginess from the strawberries that cuts through the bitterness of the matcha nicely.
Price: $8.50
Echo is tucked away in the new lifestyle hub, Kada.

Why we love it: At Spring Coffee, their heavenly Strawberry Matcha isn’t just a beverage; it’s a testament to craftsmanship and authenticity. Each cup is meticulously prepared by their skilled baristas, whisked to perfection upon order.
But what truly makes it extra special? It begins with their carefully crafted house-made strawberry puree, blending the nostalgic flavors of strawberry milk with the rich essence of Matcha. Spring Coffee’s Matcha, sourced directly from Kyoto, is a first flush tea similar to what the industry calls "ceremonial grade" - that is, matcha derived from the youngest tea leaves that has little of the bitterness typically associated with it and instead, has a naturally delicate sweetness that elevates each sip.

No artificial syrups, no shortcuts, just pure berry goodness. It’s definitely a labour of love worth waiting for.

SOURDOUGH & BREW
A refreshing take on the classic matcha latte, this drink pairs smooth, hand-whisked ceremonial-grade matcha with the bright tartness of raspberries.
Why we love it: We love how this cafe opts for raspberry instead of the usual strawberry to bring out the earthy richness of the matcha, making every sip feel light, refreshing, and just a little bit unexpected. The owner also uses ceremonial-grade matcha, and each cup is hand-whisked to order for a smooth and balanced flavour.
Price: $9.50
