Indie Darlings The xx Have Just Dropped Their Latest Album
The London trio's third studio album is already gathering a string of rave reviews. We explore their fashion connection here.

English band The xx has steadily gathered strong critical and commercial success since their formation in 2005, becoming certified indie music royalty. After a five-year absence (their previous album, Coexist, released in 2012), the band is now back with their highly anticipated third studio album, I See You, which launched today on Apple music and Spotify.
Heavyweights in the music industry, the band is no stranger to the world of fashion. The group's bassist and co-vocalist, Oliver Sim (above), most recently fronted Dior Homme's Spring Summer 2016 campaign, and starred in the campaign's accompanying film, "Stranger in a Room". The title is named after one of bandmate James Thomas Smith's own songs, which also serves as the film's soundtrack.

The trio's newest music video for "On Hold", the lead single off I See You, meanwhile, was directed by famed British photographer Alasdair McLellan, whose impressive portfolio consists of campaigns for Dior, Louis Vuitton and H&M, as well as editorials in Vogue Paris, GQ Style and WSJ.
