As Singapore continues to reopen, live music concerts are among the events starting to come back and we couldn’t be more thrilled! From famous acts like Sam Smith to The 1975, there’s a slew of upcoming concerts that are coming to Singapore. If you love watching your favourite artists perform live and you miss the smell, the taste of the air and the sweat whipping through the hair of concert attendees, then you’re on the right page. Ahead, we’ve gathered some of the upcoming concerts that you can look forward to this year on our little red dot.
The 1975 will be coming to Singapore this July as part of their Asia tour. The English rockers have amassed a loyal following and ardent fanbase through their enigmatic songcraft that encompasses glossy pop, punk, garage rock, electro-funk, country and many more. The group also recently released their fifth album ‘Being Funny in a Foreign Language’ which was their fifth consecutive No. 1 album in the UK.

Scottish singer-songwriter, Lewis Capaldi will be gracing the stage at The Star Theatre this July. After four years, K-pop girl group Twice will be returning to Singapore in Sep for their Ready To Be world tour. The girl group made their mark in the K-pop scene with their hit 'Cheer Up' a year after their debut, and soon after, they released other chart-toppers like 'TT', 'Fancy' and 'The Feels'. Besides Singapore, the group will also perform in cities such as Paris, London, Berlin, and Bangkok.

Singer, songwriter, producer, and pop visionary Lauv will be making his return to Singapore in Sep. The multi-hyphenate first broke out into the scene in 2015 with his popular track ‘The Other’, before releasing his smash hit, ‘I Like Me Better’. Now, as part of The Between Albums Tour, he will be performing some of his top heavy-hitting pop songs coupled with stunning visuals and tender on-stage moments. Special guest Alexander 23, known for his tracks like ‘IDK You Yet; will also be opening the show.

Back in April, Kodaline announced that they will be going on their Asian tour this year, with Singapore being one of the countries that they will be performing at. The annual Formula 1 Night Race is almost here and as part of the exhilarating event, the organisers have just unveiled the first wave of its entertainment line-up for this year’s night race! It’s official, Sam Smith is coming to town this Oct as part of a global tour that includes other Asian cities such as Hong Kong and Bangkok. In January, Smith’s fourth and latest album, Gloria, topped the British charts. It includes the single 'Unholy', a collaboration with German singer Kim Petras that won Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the Grammy Awards in February.
