What Went Down: The Wicked: For Good Tour Stop In Singapore
Here’s what you might’ve missed out on.
The Wicked: For Good press tour has given us plenty of viral gems: Cynthia Erivo’s meme-able reactions, “holding space” for Defying Gravity, and wickedly stylish yellow carpet looks. The five-stop-only international tour brings the cast back to New York City, including a stop in Singapore on November 13 — and the day was pretty packed.
The day started at around 5pm at WEAVE, where the cast (Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Michelle Yeoh and Jeff Goldblum) and director Jon M. Chu made an hour-long pitstop to meet fans, sign autographs and snap some pictures.
At 6pm, the yellow carpet begins and the crowd moves into the Unviersal Studios Singapore park, where the carpet stretched down past the entrance and through its Walk of Fame. Stars around the region and beyond strutted their stuff; including Frankie Grande, American reality star and Ariana Grande’s older brother, and Filipino stars like actress Andrea Brillantes and singer Darren Espanto.
As for the cast, each pulled out all the stops in glamourous designer garb: Ariana Grande in Thom Browne, Cynthia Erivo in Vivienne Westwood, Michelle Yeoh in Iris Van Herpen and Jeff Goldblum in Dior. At the end of the yellow carpet: the cast and Jon M. Chu gather for a handprint ceremony to commemorate their Singapore stop.
Finally, the day wrapped up with a screening of the Wicked: For Good film, introduced by Jon M. Chu himself. The film officially launches on November 20, 2025 in Singapore (yes, one day before the US and other Western countries). Until then, scroll on for more highlights from the entire event.
