As its name Beauty Records name might suggest, it's a virtual celebration of music. In particular, a kind of rock and roll image of leather and red lipstick that is YSL Beauty's signature. Playlists, for example, have been curated by music lovers like Rosalyn Lee, Ginette Chittick, Jasmine Sokko and Willabelle Ong.
Rouge Pur Couture The Slim Velvet Radical is one of the beauty brand's latest launches that will be highlighted at its YSL Beauty Records online pop-up.
On the beauty side, there's also a lot to discover. There are games that offer the chance to win prizes and discount codes, as well as exclusive deals on some of the brand's latest and best-selling products that you might already be familiar with. The fun and flirty Libre fragrance, long-wearing Le Cushion Encre de Peau, reparative Pure Shots Night Reboot Serum, and even the latest Rouge Pur Couture The Slim Velvet Radical matte lipsticks.
What's most exciting though are the performances by local talents slated to happen on October 27 from 9pm to 10pm on the YSL Beauty Records site. Below, a look at the performers on the lineup.
Honey-voiced powerhouse entertainer Aisyah Aziz, who recently took a turn in the pages of this magazine as a fashion warrior dressed in Miu Miu's Fall/Winter 2021 collection.
Singer-songwriter Charlie Lim, who's also a collaborator and producer of choice to a host of emerging and established talents. The latest notch in his belt: a role as the music director of a new online radio programme. Lim was also part of FEMALE's Gucci 100 gang, in celebration of the Italian brand's centenary.
The popular DJ and producer Myrne, who's one of Singapore's most accomplished musicians of his kind in recent times.
