Best known for its intricate lace designs, the six-year-old womenswear label's girly dresses and separates will take you from day to night seamlessly.
#2: They're a great option for brides
For brides-to-be who are looking for fuss-free yet elegant options, Aijek provides a made-to-measure service for customised wedding gowns (each will require about two months to complete). The best part: They're affordably priced at no more than $600.
#3: Singapore celebrities dig her designs
Local actresses Priscillia Chan and Kym Ng and radio DJ personality Jean Danker have been spotted in her pieces.
#4: Its latest stockists are internationally renowned retailers
Aside from Singapore and Asian countries like Hong Kong, Indonesia and Malaysia, Aijek has stockists in other regions of the world including the United States, Latin America and the Middle East. Its latest stockists include popular e-tailers Shopbop and Revolve.
#5: It's aiming to go global
Aijek, along with fellow local labels Stolen and max.tan, was selected to be part of the Fashion Futures 2.0 programme created by Singapore Fashion Week in partnership with the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). Under this programme, each brand has been given opportunities and equipping tools to build their brand on a global stage.
The Aijek Fashion Futures Showcase supported by Zalora takes place next Friday, 28 October, 8 pm at the National Gallery.
