Debuting in stores last month, Louis Vuitton’s Sneakerina has already become one of the hottest new shoes in the sneaker game, blending the elegance of ballet flats with plenty of sporty, streetwear attitude. In this exclusive feature, we got Singapore rising star Ally Teo (remember this editorial of ours featuring her with Louis Vuitton’s monogram bags?) take the spotlight, showcasing the sneaker’s effortless cool.

The Sneakerina by Louis Vuitton is ultra-supple thanks to its Sacchetto construction, a heritage shoemaking technique in which the insole and lining are sewn together without any seams, or rigid midsole in between. What this also means: that the shoes are super lightweight (just like ballet shoes, supposedly) and comfortable.

A clever distinguishing touch to the sneakers are the LV initials arranged to form a graphic pattern on the sides of each shoe.
