Balenciaga One More Time as Demna Drops Exclusive Britney Spears Merch and Playlist
Are they stronger, together? Creative Director Demna ropes in Britney Spears for his last Spring 2026 ready-to-wear collection.
We can't even with this newly announced collab between Balenciaga and singer Britney Spears. For Demna's farewell, the designer worked with Spears to unveil Exactitudes, the Spring 2026 lookbook for his final collection.
The whole range consists of a limited-edition series of ready-to-wear and accessories, an exclusive playlist curated by Britney Spears, and two remixes of her most iconic works by BFRND. Undeniably, Spears is the undisputed style icon of the early 2000s and a central figure in the ongoing Y2K fashion revival. You can expect to see T-shirts, zip-up hoodies, and silk twill flags featuring a Britney Spears autograph print and archival imagery by Rankin and Steven Klein.
And guess what, this exclusive release is available immediately in select Balenciaga stores including The Shoppes at Marina Bay Shoppes, Paragon Singapore, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Siam Paragon Bangkok, Central Embassy Bangkok and on balenciaga.com.
“I have always loved fashion and was so honored and excited Balenciaga and Demna chose to collaborate with me on Demna’s last collection with the House. I hope my fans love it as much as I do!" Spears shared. "These are some of my favorite images from such an amazing time in my career and life, and I’m so excited to share it with everyone."
In a press statement shared by Demna: "Working on this collection felt like a homecoming after all these years, a very formidable experience of love for fashion and dressmaking. My work at Balenciaga and in general has often circled around the anthropology of fashion and dress codes, so this is why I decided to create the imagery of this collection with Ari Versluis and Ellie Uyttenbroek whose “Exactitudes” series have strongly informed my approach to fashion so far."
Demna's last Spring 2026 collection will see him combining pieces from 35 different collections with new pieces and garments from his personal wardrobe, representing the volumes, silhouettes, and attitudes that have defined his vision and questioning of the contemporary wardrobe, what people actually wear, how they wear it, and what the fine line is between luxury and fashion.
He added: "Moving on to the next chapter, this is my tribute to the creative research and work that me and my teams have done for the past 10 years. It is also my love letter to the most loyal and fashion forward audience that we have built around the house and connected with in this creative process."
