See The Balenciaga Fall 2025 Collection Through Demna’s… Phone

Balenciaga’s Fall 2025 collection is here, and it’s a trip. Shot entirely on Demna’s phone, the raw, unfiltered images strip away the usual glitz and scenography for an unvarnished look at the goods. Instead the entire lookbook is lifted straight from the creative director's camera roll on his phone.

Think of it as a peek straight into the creative director's camera roll – informal "internal-use" shots typically taken during fitting sessions. These photos capture the looks in their purest form, stripped of styling, hair, makeup, or elaborate scenography.

At the heart of the collection wchih minimal eveningwear morphing into casual everyday vibes, uniforms, fan merch, and tracksuit-inspired party dressesare two takes on the classic T-shirt: a cocoon-like black jersey maxi dress and a semi-fitted white bodycon mini dress. This vibe of opposites carries through – pristine, "Brand New With Tags" pieces sit alongside ultra-distressed ones; padded, overstuffed slippers next to barely-there clip-on soles; voluminous skirts clash with micro-minis; and over-the-top layered fits contrast minimalist single-piece looks. 

Footwear takes a wild turn with Balenciaga’s collab with Scholl, featuring what the brand’s calling the “most comfortable heels” ever. These include stilettos, heeled sandals, and boots with orthopaedic cork footbeds, plus cushioned Chateau slippers and Comfort cuissardes with knit uppers and padded soles.  

And then there’s the Lamborghini collab: leather racing jackets and motor-inspired bags that look like they were pulled straight off the track. Expect distressed leather, inside-out designs, and oversized BB license plates. The Dashboard clutch, styled like a car owner’s manual and decked out with key fob charms, screams “high-speed flex.”
