Balenciaga Launches TechWear, A New Performance Sportswear Line
Featuring breathable material, taffeta tracksuits, and leather windbreaker sets – all with Balenciaga’s signature street-chic savoir-faire.
The romance between fitness and fashion continues with Balenciaga’s latest drop: TechWear. This performance wear line from the House isn’t just about looking good (although the line blends in streetwear vibes as chicly as you’d expect Pierpaolo Piccioli to), it’s about creating effective performance wear technology for today’s wellness-focused lifestyle.
The magic is in the materials: breathable and UV-protective pieces, mesh-membraned taffeta tracksuits and leather windbreaker sets with flat edge-to-edge stitchless seams thanks to ultrasonic-welded nylon tape, and a reverse knit process that creates water repellent zip closures. Some pieces even have high-vis reflective motifs, so pieces can be worn from day to night, indoors and outdoors.
Following Piccioli’s Fall 2026 collection “Body & Being,” this new campaign continues to spotlight the Balenciaga Bodies identity that’s all about bringing together tailoring with technical, high-performing sportswear. The added bonus: Balenciaga’s street-chic coolness, and a special collaboration with high-intensity workout fitness studio, Barry’s.

Balenciaga x Barry’s smoothies, classes, and music playlists in Singapore
The Balenciaga x Barry’s pop-up will only be happening in Paris, Beijing and Shanghai.
To commemorate the launch of its TechWear line, Balenciaga will be taking over Barry’s Fuel bars in Singapore, Los Angeles, New York City, London, Paris, Milan, Dubai, and Sydney with exclusive, limited-edition experiences. In Singapore, Barry’s Orchard studio will be offering the Balenciaga-exclusive smoothie from July 3 to 4, 2026.
