Barbie And Ken Are Ready To Party This Holiday Season
The third collaboration between Italian fashion house Moschino and American toy manufacturing giant Mattel sees Barbie and Ken kitted out in the most colourful party-ready looks.
If you thought what Barbie and Ken were wearing looked familiar, you probably thought right - it's what Moschino's creative director and designer Jeremy Scott and model Stella Maxwell wore at the Video Music Awards last year.
Barbie wears a pint-sized version of the brand's Fall '15 gown, which is made of velvet and a colourful ruffled applique that wraps around the waistline. Ken's multi-coloured tuxedo, meanwhile, is inspired by the television test signal stripes.
While the set won't be available in stores here, you can purchase them online or at Moschino boutiques in cities like Milan, London and Paris for $200. And besides getting your hands on these fashionable dolls, you can also buy beach towels of Barbie and Ken at $135.
