For most of us, cafe hopping and trying out new dining spots can be considered as one of our favourite weekend activities. But store hopping might just be the next big trend, thanks to the increase in the number of boutiques that take things up a notch with interiors that are big on aesthetics.

That means shoppers can not only enjoy shopping for their favourite items, but they can now also feast their eyes on the Insta-worthy interiors. Keep scrolling to find some of the local stores, boutiques and wait for it… beauty clinics with the chicest and coolest decor.
Our Second Nature’s second store (the homegrown brand affectionately calls it “our second hideaway”) at Great World takes inspiration from nature. The use of rocks and pebbles in the store make one feel as though you’ve just stepped into a zen, Japanese garden.
While the brand is known for its blink-and-you'll-miss-it collections, this idyllic space offers more than just apparel. There are also lifestyle items here, including chocolate bars, reusable cotton pads and pillowcases to name a few — a perfect spot for those hunting for great gift ideas.
#01-159 Great World
Opened in end of November 2021, Two L(i)ps’ flagship store is the latest concept store by Cynthia Chua of the Spa Esprit group (she's also behind other stylish spots such as Browhaus, Tiong Bahru Bakery and Spa Esprit).
Besides face serums and body balms, you’ll also find personal care products including wipes and ingrown hair reducing cream that are made especially for your vulva.
The spanking new store — designed by Olivia Lee Studio — boasts a mix of past meets present design that “aims to demystify intimate care as well as foster curiosity and appreciation for women’s bodies.”
#B3-37 Ion Orchard
Furnishing your new home is an exciting affair but if you’re looking for home items that are more cult and less cookie-cutter, L’Appart is your go-to. From wall tiles to Japanese cups, the lifestyle concept store offers a selection of stylish and thoughtfully curated home items that can spruce up your living space.
Aside from homes, L’Appart’s slim white vertical tiles for example, have also adorned the walls of stores such as the artisanal bakery Mother Dough which is located at Jalan Kledek. Before visiting, be sure to give the good folks at L’Appart a call first to secure an appointment in-store.
35B Seah Street
Opened in 2018, DS Skin & Wellness is a sub-special clinic under Dermatology & Surgery Clinic, and it specialises in aesthetic dermatology services.
Entering its premises, one might wonder if it’s indeed a clinic. You see, the cold white walls and simple setup that we’re used to seeing in other clinics are nowhere to be found here.
Instead, brass finish, marble tabletops, cocoon-like interior and modern furnishing combine to create a luxurious and inviting feel for all patients.
Designed by FDAT Architects, this stylish space reminds us more of a chic hotel lobby, shooing away any fears that we usually get at the doctor’s office.

Think you know your skin? Think again. Anake a DNA-based beauty brand that sells DNA kits ($299 each) so that you can leave all the skincare guesswork at the door. After you’ve completed the test at the comfort of your home, Anake will pick it up from you. This is followed by a complimentary consultation in-store.
The cosy 58sqm retail cum facial space at Wisma Atria is designed by award-winning architecture firm Laank. The modern-looking space is highlighted by unique shelves and displays that make you feel as though you’re walking through an art exhibition.
When you’re done admiring the interior, get ready to design a customised skin treatment plan with one of Anake’s staffers.

Located at the trendy Tiong Bahru district, multi-label concept store Yours opened its doors in late November last year. It shines the spotlight on contemporary fashion designers from China, offering a slice of authentic oriental style to the fashion-loving crowd in Singapore.
Among the brands to look out for: Chengguang Wang, Me ft. We, Dawei Studio, and more. Rest assured the clothes won’t be the only thing that’ll get you excited here. The store’s neon street signs, illuminated stairwell and old school floor tiles offer a glimpse into what nightlife and past and present home living might look like in China.
