Here's A Guide To This Season's Designer Sneakers

If there’s one footwear necessity that’s definitely in your shoe cabinet, it’s got to be a pair of sneakers. In the past few fashion cycles, the humble everyday staple has had its fair share of trends: the ballet sneaker, retro-style sneakers, chunky running shoes, shoe charms...the list goes on. This season, the sneaker is still strutting about on the runway — from chunky kicks, monogrammed house codes, to all-white classics, here are nine pairs from the latest collections that we’ve got our eyes on.
1. Saltwind cotton sneakers with embroidered four-leaf clovers, $1,450, Dior
An iconic nautical sneaker (traditionally worn by US Marines on boats) got a JW Anderson makeover: the Saltwind sneaker. In true Anderson style, it’s a simple and androgynous silhouette that’s also designed for comfort with flexible rubber soles and soft cotton. Luck is also literally woven in as part of the design, with Dior’s luckiest house symbol, the four-leaf clover (there’s even a matching Lady Dior bag).
2. Soho denim sneakers, $330, Coach
Dropping this February, Coach’s Spring 2026 collection features a series of kicks that embody its trendy urban vibe. Now available in an all-denim exterior, the Soho sneaker is perfect for those who love their sneakers chunky. There’s also a a subtle nod to the city it calls home: a map of Manhattan on the sole.
3. Valentino Garavani and Vans fabric sneakers, $680, Valentino Garavani and Vans
If you loved Valentino and Vans’ collaboration last September, you’ll be glad to hear that its second chapter just dropped this January with a slew of new kicks. This version blends Valentino and Vans’ design codes: Vans’ classic slip-on style with Valentino’s iconic red and black checker print and Cherryfic pattern.
4. Mexico 66 Fringe leather sneakers, Onitsuka Tiger
Onitsuka Tiger’s most iconic shoe just got a makeover for its Spring Summer 2026 runway. This coffee-coloured colourway is a trendy take on the sleek retro-style sneakers that are still dominating Pinterest — complete with matching leather fringes and tassels.
5. Tyre technical fabric and suede sneakers, $1,630, Miu Miu
The Tyre sneaker returns for Spring 2026 with a slew of matching leather shoe charms; Perfect for the charms-maxxing Gen Z who likes to be heard before they’re seen.
6. Moncler x Rick Owens Trailgrip Megalace leather sneakers, $1,260, Moncler + Rick Owens
From a collection inspired by Berlin’s brutalist architecture comes the newest take on the iconic Trailgrip Megalaces. Blending Moncler’s functionality and Rick Owen’s eccentricity is a bright fuchsia hiking shoe. Yes, it’s functional with Vibram soles for extra grip and comfort, with a side of extra laces for style — because why not.
7. Fabric sneakers, $890, Dolce & Gabbana
For the modern athliesure addict, Dolce and Gabbana’s latest athletic sneakers tick all the boxes. An added bonus: the label, tongue and spoiler can be customised with or without the logo, depending on your personal preference. So go logo-fied, or lean into that IYKYK fashion vibe.
8. EC1 nylon and suede sneakers, $900, McQueen
Sleek, relaxed, and slightly elevated. The newest version of McQueen’s EC1 sneakers keeps its casual retro feel, slightly elevated with a mix of suede and nylon. It’s a trendy pair that adds a dash of texture, enhancing any all-black outfit with that effortlessly cool street style vibe.
