Forget Black Friday, DSM Is Having A 'Fluro Rebellion'

When they go Black, Dover Street Market goes Fluo.

While most retailers are bracing themselves for Black Friday bargain hunters, Dover Street Market (DSM) has launched its own version of a shopping tizzy called Fluro Rebellion starting Friday, Nov 27 in its stores worldwide including its Dover Street Market Singapore outpost at Dempsey Road.

Described as a two-part series of limited edition merchandise drops, the event is meant to be a "colourful counter action" to an otherwise "reduction driven day". The second launch will happen on Dec 11 – just in time for you to do some last-minute Christmas shopping if you ask us.

Involving 29 brands which are part of the DSM stable of regular labels and collaborators, the outing sees streetwear staples like hoodies, T-shirts and sweats as well as jewellery designed in either black or white with splashes of fluorescent hues.

The first batch of 12 collaborators includes Japanese jewellery label Ambush, Stussy and Doublet, while the second outing in Dec will feature names such as Youths In Balaclava, Fragment and Futura Laboratories.
