British brand Clarks has a proven track record in creating heritage footwear, having been in the business of shoes since 1825. So how does it keep things looking fresh? Its Fall/Winter 2020 collection of trans-seasonal designs gives a gist of how the brand aces modern classics.

In the repertoire this season are sophisticated loafers, flats, kitten heel pumps and tennis shoes – basically staples to wear on rotation – that have been given luxurious touches.

Think the fiery and bright patent leather loafers that mirror the glow of a sunset. Or how about the monochromatic flats with plush Dalmation-inspired spots for the crowd who enjoys prints? Then, there are the sneakers which channel a nostalgic '70s vibe.
