British fashion label Burberry is celebrating a major milestone this year: its 170th anniversary. That’s 17 whole decades of outerwear that perfectly balances style and function through all seasons. The brand’s ongoing exhibition at London’s Victoria & Albert Museum isn’t the only project dedicated to the occasion – Burberry also presents 170: The Anniversary Portraits, a street photography campaign capturing how individuals across London, New York, Seoul and Shanghai express their personal style through its pieces.

Just like The Trench, Portraits of an Icon, this series of anniversary portraits also features personalities across various industries including Lila Moss (Kate Moss’ daughter), British theatre director Jamie Lloyd, and young soccer player Nico O’Reilly. But this time, the photography subjects also extend to regular street-cast locals from each of the four cities, as well as longtime members of Burberry’s team – a fitting ode to those who have played a part in making the brand what it is today.

10 types of Burberry outerwear are styled in a whole myriad of ways through these 170 photographs, including the Long Kensington Heritage Trench Coat, cashmere Shearling Collar Cashmere Cape, and shearling-collared Quilted Nylon Rosedale Coat, among others. Through each portrait, it is clear that there are endless possibilities with Burberry’s timeless pieces that wearers can truly make their own – whatever the weather, mood, or occasion.

The campaign cements Burberry’s position as a long-established purveyor of classic weather-led fashion staples, as it continues creating new options for the modern wearer.
