The two Australian celebrities are the new faces of the luxury brand’s latest campaign, and the internet’s been going crazy over the campaign video, which references Kylie’s Come Into My World music video. Directed by Michael Gondry, who’s also responsible for the 2002 hit’s MV, this fresh iteration of the Y2K-era vid puts a clever modern spin on a classic – while highlighting how the Chanel 25 bag takes its wearer through every season of life.

Stars, they’re just like us – the BTS video starts off with a little fangirling moment by Margot, who gushes, “It’s so weird talking to you, to be honest, because I’m like, ‘it’s Kylie Minogue! ’My very first concert was a Kylie Minogue concert, and it was unreal. So this is very surreal, to be doing this with you and Michael on a movie set in Hollywood.”

“It’s pretty cool,” Kylie agrees. “It’s like I’m doing cartwheels on the inside!”

What do Margot Robbie and Kylie Minogue love about the Chanel 25 bag?

Kylie loves anything mini, so the fact that the Chanel 25 comes in a Mini version gets her vote. “Shrink it down…[and it becomes] even more wonderful.”

As for Margot? She likes both the mini and maxi, but the latter is especially useful for her as she’s “the kind of person who jam-packs their handbag with things” due to “always doing a bazillion things in a day”.
