All The Stars Who Attended Chanel's Metiers D'Art 2025 Collection In Hangzhou

Earlier this week, Chanel unveiled its latest Metiers d’Art collection in the historic Chinese city of Hangzhou. For those who are unfamiliar with it, Metiers d'Arts (French for “art professions”) was initiated in 2002 by former Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld - the annual collection is a one-of-a-kind showcase dedicated to celebrating the considerable prowess of the numerous specialty ateliers owned by the maison.

Why Hangzhou this year? In Gabrielle Chanel's Paris apartment is a Chinese Coromandel lacquer screen - since the legendary designer's youth, she had always had a fondness for Chinese art and antiques. Despite the designer's deep admiration for Chinese art though, she never managed to visit China - this poetic 65-look collection, staged on Hangzhou's famous West Lake itself, did so on her behalf.

And of course, a constellation of stars ranging from Chinese supermodel Liu Wen to ambassadors such as Tilda Swinton, Lupita Nyong'O, and Becky Armstrong, were in attendance for this historic show - Chanel hasn't staged a show in mainland China since 2009. Scroll down to see more.
