Naomi Halts A Fashion Emergency In Chanel's Couture Short Film

Naomi Campbell plays the role of a fashion fairy godmother in a newly released short film by Chanel leading up to the maison's Spring/Summer 2024 haute couture show.

Before Chanel unveils Virginie Viard's latest haute couture vision for Spring/Summer 2024 in Paris on January 23, the brand invites fans to enjoy a short film noir. Titled The Button, this slick and trippy piece is directed by American filmmaker and record producer Dave Free and features brand ambassador and actress Margaret Qualley. The plot follows the actress as she traces the trail of a button that has gone missing from the cuff of her Chanel jacket, leading her to the iconic 31 rue Cambon address of Chanel. Along the way, she encounters Naomi Campbell and Anna Mouglalis. If that doesn't sound like a fashion journey, consider the upbeat soundtrack scored by Free's frequent collaborator and childhood pal, rapper Kendrick Lamar.

The film of the Chanel Spring/Summer 2024 Haute Couture show will be unveiled on January 23 at 9 pm, Singapore time. Watch it here.
