This French Jewellery Maison Has A Fun And Graphic Way To Wear Colourful Gemstones
Spark joy with pieces adorned with carnelian, malachite and onyx.
By Imran Jalal,
After getting through what has been a challenging year, you can't be blamed for turning to objects or seeking purchases that can add a little of that Kondo-ian spark. Good news: The new additions to Chaumet's Jeux de Liens and Jeux de Liens Harmony lines may do a good job at giving some zing to your jewellery collection.
Green malachite has been added to the Jeux de Liens (left) and Jeux de Liens Harmony (right) lines this season.
Recognised for curvilinear X-shaped pendants and medallions made of two asymmetrical semi-circles respectively, the two lines are joined by a total of 10 new pieces that are adorned with coloured stones in the form of red carnelian, green malachite and the inky black onyx.
X marks the spot with the Jeux de Liens carnelian earrings.
The stones pop in more ways than one for the Jeux de Liens in particular –thanks to the three-dimensional/sculpted X-shaped pendants which boasts an almost balloon-like effect (with a single diamond is perched on them).
As for the Jeux de Liens Harmony line? Cue the playful diamond-paved X-shaped links that give the illusion of joining the two semi-circle designs of its medallions. If you're thinking of sparking even more joy factor, you can opt to engrave the back of the medallions with a name, a date or personal message.
